Presented by ASPAC, Oval Community Day is a free community event that celebrates Richmond’s dedication to sport, fitness and wellness; filled with family-friendly activities, sport demonstrations, tournaments, and so much more!

Sport Try-Its & Demos
Watch groups showcase their sports, including wheelchair basketball, lacrosse, spike ball, and skateboarding—one of the newest Olympic Sports. Attendees of all ages can try out a range of activities, including wheelchair basketball, obstacle courses, surfing, fastest pitch, street curling, and more.
Nostalgic Selfie Stations
Take a photo in the Vancouver 2010 Bobsleigh or on the podium with replica medals and torches.

Self-Guided Tours of the Olympic Experience

3x3 Basketball Tournament
In partnership with Can3X Basketball, the 3x3 Summerfest returns to the Oval! Participating in this tournament requires pre-registration, click here to find pre-register.
Youth Soccer Tournament
Cheer on Richmond’s up-and-coming soccer stars on the pristine turf fields. 2011 and 2012 born teams will compete in 6v6 games throughout the day.
